1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website or enrolling in our classes, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services
Kids That Cook offers cooking classes, camps and workshops for children and teens in Oswego, IL and/or through partner sites. All descriptions of classes are subject to change.
3. Registration & Payment
- In order to register for a class/camp, you must provide accurate parent/guardian information and pay via our accepted payment methods.
- All fees are listed at time of registration. You agree to pay the stated fee.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
- If you cancel [x days] before class start, you may receive a full/partial refund or credit (insert your policy).
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to low enrollment, instructor illness, weather or other circumstances. In such event, you'll be notified and offered a refund or credit.
5. Code of Conduct & Safety
- We expect respectful behavior from all participants. Parents/guardians must agree to our behavior guidelines.
- Kids That Cook is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow instructor advice or from ignoring safety rules. Appropriate supervision and consent is required.
6. Intellectual Property
- All content on our website (text, images, videos, illustrations) is owned by Kids That Cook or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works without our written permission.
- When you submit user content (photos of your child in class, recipes, etc.), you grant us a license to use them for marketing and promotion.
7. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by Illinois law, Kids That Cook and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the services.
- Our maximum liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant class.
8. Disclaimer
Our classes and content are provided for educational and recreational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, dietary or mental-health advice. If your child has allergies, medical conditions or special needs, you should consult a qualified professional.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kendall County, Illinois.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. If we do, we will post the updated version on our website with a new "Last Updated" date.
